"The Herons" will begin their participation in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup in the first leg against "Sporting". Concacaf announced the postponement of the match due to adverse weather conditions expected in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
In an official statement, it was reported that the match, originally scheduled for February 18, will now take place on Wednesday, February 19. This decision was made in coordination with both clubs to prioritize the safety of players and fans, as confirmed.
The match, which was set for Tuesday, February 18 at 10 PM (Argentina time), will now be held on Wednesday at 9 PM (Argentina time).
